Indian Wedding Entertainment in Portugal: From Sangeet to After-Party

Portugal has become one of Europe’s favourite destinations for Indian and South Asian weddings. The weather, the food, the venues and the easy flights make it ideal for celebrations that last two or three days. The music, though, needs a different kind of planning than a single-day wedding.
Think of the weekend as one journey
The strongest weekends are not a list of separate bookings. Each day has its own identity, while the music connects them. We usually open with interactive live music and an international party feel, give the second day to DJ-led Bollywood, Punjabi and Tamil music, and build the wedding day from elegant strings to a full live concert.
Welcome dinner, Mehendi and Sangeet
A Roaming Trio or Roaming Band moving among the guests breaks the ice from the first minute. Two sets of 45 minutes work well around arrivals and dinner. The DJ then takes over with traditional favourites, and live percussion can join for the final hours to lift the dance floor.
Baraat and ceremony
The Baraat musicians are usually organised by the family and the planner. What matters is the coordination: timings, power, microphones for the ceremony and a smooth handover from the procession to the celebration. Ceremony sound and strings can be added where wanted.
Cocktail hour and dinner
A string quartet playing contemporary pop and cinematic arrangements keeps the elegance of the ceremony with a different energy. During dinner, curated background music runs through the DJ or production system, ready for speeches.
The reception concert
This is the moment for The Keys Big Band or the twelve-piece Orchestra on a proper stage. With our Celestial production, the reception becomes a real concert: elevated stage, concert sound and programmed lighting.
Keep time for Bollywood
Right after the concert, we recommend reserving 30 to 45 minutes of DJ programming for the couple’s favourite Bollywood and traditional songs, before the after-party. Send your favourite songs early: with enough notice, one of them can even be arranged for the live band.
The after-party
DJ with saxophone and percussion keeps the dance floor full for as long as the night wants. Extra hours can be added on the night.
